During the production, we will slightly adjust the winding tension directing at the different technical specification of thermal transfer overprinter so as to achieve the optimal tension and use effect.The excessive thin Linx TT3 TTO ribbon base will make it more likely to cause frequent breakage when printing ribbons, which in turn will influence production; on the contrary, excessive thick Linx TT3 TTO ribbon base will result in tightened ribbon tension, which will generate extra abrasion to ribbon drive shaft of thermal transfer overprinter. Over the many years’ research, we find that the ribbon base in thickness of 4.5um is the most suitable with optimal performance.
