  TTO ribbon full name is Thermal Transfer Overprint ribbon that is a special consumable equitment with the TTO printer ,such as Videojet ,Markem-Imaje and Domino.its a very popular printing consumable at present,but What’s the difference of the TTO ribbon and hot ink roller

TTO ribbon is used to print on plastic film,Metal foil,and tags,the characteristic is that it have a perfect printing effect and can mix different characters,date,Time format,words,logo,bar code,QR code,Infinite text bar.

  Thermal Transfer Overprint Ribbon can match with different Thermal Transfer Overprinters to print credibility sign in Flexible packaging, kinds of packing bags,vacuum bags or tags.To meet different needs from our customers,we have three type of TTO ribbon,such as HZ900、HZ800、HZ600.

The mainly difference from hot ink roller is the printing effect,first,the TTO ribbon effect very clearly(suit for oil packing),scratch resistance(look like printing),second,TTO cost is less than Hot printing foil,the length of TTO ribbon usual is 300m per roll,but the Hot printing foil length only 100m per roll.

  The most important is TTO ribbon can print varied picture such as QR code ,bar code.the Hot printing foil only can print simple product lot such as numbers and symbols.
