Comparison of UC Series with Other Domestic Thermal Transfer Overprinter (DK)

1. Printing frequency

The print frequency of the DK cylinder model is 370 times, and that of the UC model is 450 times

2. Printing method

DK is a cylinder that presses down on the print head. The faster the packaging speed, the faster the print head presses down. Friction generates heat, accelerating the aging of the solenoid valve and the cylinder, resulting in air leakage and defective print quality.

The UC pure motor presses down on the print head, with exactly the same pressing height, which increases the print head's lifespan. It features a fast response speed, high frequency, and eliminates the possibility of missed printing

3. Cylinder machine calibration:

After the DK machine is installed, if the motherboard is replaced, a new ribbon is installed, or the ribbon breaks or wrinkles, calibration will be carried out. For machine calibration, the ribbon box needs to be removed and the print head position manually operated

The UC machine directly and automatically positions and initializes without manual operation.

4. Debugging of the new coding machine

To debug the DK coding machine, remove the ribbon box, click the menu, enter the administrator password (8888), and adjust it to vertical based on intermittent or continuous operation. The system will diagnose the print head offset. First, set the value to 70, then click the print head to stick out. The print head will have a downward pressing action. Check if it is at the highest point of the rubber roller. Before confirming the highest point, perform the offset value several times. Until it is adjusted to the appropriate position, with the print head at the highest point of the rubber roller, then enter "Administrator" and adjust the longitudinal direction to 90.

After the UC machine is installed and powered on, it will automatically position and print directly without the need for manual adjustment of the print head position.
