What if the thermal transfer overprinter is not printed clearly?

During the use of the thermal transfer overprinter, the printing may not be clear. We first determine whether it is a ribbon problem after troubleshooting. If it is not a coding ribbon problem, we can determine that the thermal transfer  overprinter has a certain problem.

The coding ribbon is judged as follows:

1. If several machines of the whole batch of coding ribbon do not print clearly, it is the problem of coding ribbon. It is necessary to replace the trial machine of other batches.

2. If the printing is not clear at the same position, it indicates that the print head is broken, and the print head should be replaced.

3. If it is intermittent, it clearly indicates that it is a problem with the thermal transfer  overprinter.

4. If the printing effect of this coding ribbon is good in other printers, it is necessary to replace several other ribbons for trial use. If it is still unclear to change several rolls of coding ribbon, it indicates that it is a problem with the heat transfer  overprinter.

If it is judged that the heat transfer printer equipment causes unclear product printing, the following adjustments should be made:

1. Check whether the printer has been readjusted, whether it is because the equipment cannot print normally and clearly after readjustment, and adjust and reinstall it accordingly.

2. To eliminate the fault of the thermal transfer  overprinter itself, we can start to observe the print head of the thermal transfer printer to see whether it is the print head that has a problem:

(1) Continuous coding machine: the printing head is not pressed in the center of the rubber roller when it acts, so the printer needs to be repositioned.

(2) Intermittent code printer: the silicone pad is damaged and now uneven. Replace it.

3. The air pressure is not adjusted properly:

No air pressure or too low air pressure will cause unclear printing. If the air pressure is too high, the life of the tto print head will be affected. It needs to be adjusted between 0.45 and 0.6, not higher than 0.6.

4. The printing density is set too low: the printing temperature of the print head is not enough, which will also lead to unclear printing.

5. Whether the resistance of the tto print head is adjusted (if the print head is replaced, the resistance data shall be adjusted on the display screen, and the life of the tto print head will not be affected if the resistance is not adjusted.
