The use of hot ink roll and ink coding machine to print the production date is widely used in the food industry.

The production date printed by the solid ink roller is mostly used in food plastic bags. This is because many plastic bags are generally re-sealed after packaging the product. It is convenient and clear to install an ink coding machine on the sealing machine to print the production date. However, some products have to be sterilized by high temperature after sealing. Can the date printed by coding machine at this time be resistant to the process of high temperature sterilization?



Because different food factories have different sterilization processes, some use the pasteurization process temperature of about 100 degrees, while some use high-temperature sterilization temperature can reach 121 degrees, the date printed by different hot ink roll can withstand different temperatures also show different results.

The high temperature cooking hot ink roll can generally withstand the temperature of food pasteurization, but it cannot withstand the process of high temperature sterilization. This is because the hot ink roll also needs to dissolve the solid ink at a certain temperature and then transfer it to the food bag during the printing process. Therefore, if the tolerance temperature of the hot ink roll is higher than the sterilization temperature of the food packaging bag, the printing marks of the hot ink roll will fall off during the production process.

Recommended printing temperature: 100℃-140℃

2. Medium temperaturehot ink roll series

Recommended printing temperature: 120℃-160℃

The printed handwriting has good adhesion, good scratch resistance and scratch resistance, and can meet customers who have high requirements for adhesion and whose equipment temperature is not high; it is recommended that the actual heating temperature of the equipment should not be lower than 120℃.

3. High temperature hot ink roll series

Excellent printing and adhesion, good scratch resistance and scratch resistance, suitable for coders with high heating temperature; in order to make full use of the ink wheel, it is recommended that the actual heating temperature of the grain of the equipment should not be lower than 140℃.


All hot ink roll storage conditions: Store at room temperature, moisture-proof, pressure-proof, sun-proof, the storage period is one year.
